Not sure if there is already a thread somewhere on this forum but would highly recommend Chris Kresser. He's a naturopath that specializes in gut/digestion issues, hormonal issues, thyroid, adrenal and endocrine issues which are more common then people think when they go on a paleo diet or when something goes wrong. He advocates a paleo template or paleoish diet, which includes some starches such as sweet potatoes. He's known as a health detective and had to fix his own complex health issues when he was traveling abroad. His podcasts and articles which are all free are excellent and he is one of the most intelligent and well researched health professionals in the paleosphere. Im also thinking of either going to visit him or get some help from him via skype or phone consulting. His website is at: www.chriskresser.com
I'd also like to suggest Matt Stone of 180 Degree Health. I just came across his website but like Chris Kresser, he tackles a lot of issues not commonly discussed in the paleo community, and is very well research and intelligent as well. Both Matt Stone and Chris Kresser are going to be in the Paleo Summit happening later on this month as well.
