The "Lounge"?

Postby Halffull » Sun May 15, 2011 3:15 pm

Hey Anthony,

Was thinking about this a bit more after you asked me. Lounge to me represents a place to kick back, shoot the shit, and relax.

This forum has evolved into something very different. A place to be held accountable, group together for action, and get stuff done. Lounge just seems too... passive to me.

Just some thoughts.

Cheers,
Matt

I see your point, but I don't fully agree. This place, this lounge, ideally, is a place to kick back and relax -- psychologically. A place where only others on the same or similar paths in life write out their ideas, for themselves, and other members like them.

This should be, and is, rejuvenating, as one one of the few places on the internet left to do so.

I do not see this as contradictory for being inspired to take action, organize, etc. The same way you can attend the convention, be inspired during the day, and relax and kick back with new people at night over dinner/drinks/going out, etc.
