I've been meaning to put you on to Tragedy and Hope . com. Are you already aware of them?
I have recently come accross there podcasts initially from James Corbett from thecorbettreport - dealing geo politics, history, corporate controll etc..
Then i went to Gnostic media ran by Jan Irving. Huge huge wealth of knowledge put out in the format of interviews with academics world wide.
It was through Jan that i first heard about the Trivium and this is where I thought of what you were doing and where you were taking the convention. Are you aware of the Trivium? Im interested to see if its talked about in the unreleased video on critical thinking. Essentialy it has been THE method of critical thinking for the last 2500 years being supressed and recovered in different eras through out.
more can be learnt at http://www.triviumeducation.com/ which contains materials to study the trivium. however, I think the best breakdown of it i have heard was through the Peacerevolution podcast ran by Richard Grove. While it is long, and not entirely devoted to explaining the trivium it does a great job in contextualising it's importance in our current times, laying out its history and then actually explaining it.
http://peacerevolution.podomatic.com/ - scroll down and listen to episode two, a million dollor education.
If you have time i would recomend starting with the first podcast 'a 2500 year conversation' to contextualise the entire Peacerevolution and Tradgedy and Hope philosophy.. not to mention learn some incredible things presented amazingly well that will help in understanding the reality of the world and the times we live in.
I could not be more impressed with what their doing, likewise with what you are doing, it will interest me to see if there could ever be any cross over. The need for critcal thinking is huge, as is potential of the 21convention. See what you think and let me know
Ps keep an eye out for the ultimate history lesson with John Taylor Gatto DVD.
